Department provides a range of services for clients including the animals necropsy, macro observation, sample collection and histology processing, data review, etc.

Performs basic duties of necropsy and/or basic duties of histology
May help to prepare stock solutions and set-up study supplies
Trim and bag wet tissues
Embed tissues into paraffin
Recognizes deviations from expected results and takes appropriate action.
Learns to adapt techniques to new procedures or particular needs as directed.
Demonstrates teamwork skills and contributes towards a cohesive team environment
Demonstrates data documentation and QC (Quality Control) skills
Demonstrates problem solving skills
Maintains a clean and safe work environment
Performs other duties as assigned.

Diploma Degree in Life Sciences, or Associate Degree in Histology, Laboratory Animal Technology or Veterinary Technology
Experience may be substituted for education.
Ability to perform basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel).
Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
With good job responsibility, carefulness, patience and earnestness.
